Bats is a super easy to do Halloween craft that will bring lots of joy to the whole family. Also, you can glue a thread to them and hang these cute creatures around the house.

What will you need:

Start with coloring a cotton round black. After covering it with paint, make sure to give it enough time to get dry. The drying time will depend on the thickness of the paint layer and whether you added any water to the paint. In my case, I was glueing everything the next day.

To skip any drying time, you can simply cut the circles out of black colored construction paper. I personally prefer coloring the cotton rounds because they feel soft and fuzzy and more nice to the touch, but the choice is yours.

After your colored circles are completely dry, use school glue to attach the googly eyes.

Now, it’s time for the ears and wings, so your bats can fly! For the ears, cut out small triangles out of black colored construction paper and glue them on top of the heads. For the wings, copy the shape of an average bat’s wing, and glue it to the back. While making a wing, simply be you, don’t stress out if your wing resembles more a triangle than a shape of a wing. It will be your magical special bat, so it can look any way you want.

Voila! Your bats are ready to fly! You can attach a cotton thread to the back of them, so they can be hanging in the air. Enjoy!
