This is a super easy activity that helps you to keep memories in a beautiful picture! Make this palm turkey your Thanksgiving tradition for your family and see how your kids have grown up. Also, this is a perfect gift for grandparents!

You will need:

Start with tracing someone’s palm on a piece of paper.

Then use paint to color the palm. Make sure to use different colors and different patterns to create the coloring close to the real bird (you can see my futile attempts in the photos below).

After you are satisfied with the color, add two legs to your turkey, then glue googly eyes, and a beak. Also, you might want to add the snood (a fold of skin growing from the forehead) and a waddle (a fold of skin growing on below the beak).

After you are satisfied with your turkey, add a year, or a name, or whatever you want to add on the remaining part of the paper.

Voila! Your palm print turkey is ready! Now, you can mail to grandparents.
